Can’t meditate?
Movement Meditation
Meditation is such a good practice. It takes us into a place of opportunity for new. It takes us away from the preconditioned programs, it quietens the noise of thought and allows us to be in the present moment where we can just be. How much of our day can we spend in that meditative state? It does not have to be sat in a yogi position in a cave saying OM. It can be whilst running, dancing, writing, in the bath or washing up. If we just become more dialled into the present moment and creating one point of focus for our attention more regularly then we are spending more time in a place of what is. We can tap into our creation centre and desires and dream up our reality from the inside out.
Dancing is such a great way to explore this if you are already drawn to dance. You do not have to be a “dancer” to bring your meditation practice to dance. You just must move. It is bringing your focus and attention to your breath, the movement and the music. It becomes rhythmic and you can allow the music to take over your body so there is no doing. You are being within this flow whilst connecting to source energy.
